Nice find and compilation by Henry Briceno.

This shot amazes me.

That's Figueroa Street in the foreground. The Figueroa Street Tunnels are just west of this on the eastbound lanes. Also called even today the Arroyo Seco Parkway.

Grandpa and Grandma's house was very special. I remember so many fun times, but the best times were just thinking of the buzz going on at the house. There was so much going on it seemed. There were always new faces and old faces showing up for an hour or two.
