Thanks for this—I was born here in 1959. I was baptized in the now-gone St. Anthony’s in San Gabriel. I have pamphlets that were given to my mom when she was discharged. I’ve looked everywhere trying to find pictures of the old hospital building.
Polly, thank you for checking out the pics and sharing your origins story. I lived in Dan Gabriel for several years, and St. Anthony's is still there on San Gabriel Blvd just north of the 10 Fwy. Yeah, on shots of the main building at Santa Teresita, I'd have to look for them. If I find any, I'll share them here.
