Thank you to Lost Angeles.
In 1947, Hungarian-American architect, Paul Laszlo, designed the Streamline Moderne interiors of the Beverly Hill Hotel. A curvilinear sofa with lavish planters and built-in lamps is a highlight of the hotel's lobby. In the bedrooms, Laszlo's "gently-modern" style is sleek but warm. Photos: Julius Shulman, 1947. J.
